I came to Rishi partway through AP Statistics with a grade I was not proud of, and I had largely concluded that I was not a mathematics person. He never treated the situation that way. He established what I genuinely did not understand and began there, rather than reviewing material I had memorized without ever comprehending. Within a few weeks I understood ideas I had been working around since September, and I sat the examination with real confidence. I do not believe that outcome occurs without him.

Geometry was the first course I could not work out on my own, and it unsettled me more than I expected. Rishi was extremely patient. He would let me sit with a problem and ask me questions until I reached the answer myself instead of supplying it, and that is the reason the material stayed with me. My scores on class assessments improved steadily, and I went into the final examination genuinely prepared.
