Algebra 1 through Precalculus, on-level and advanced, together with AP Statistics and AP Chemistry. Instruction is one-on-one at a rate of $40 per hour. The first session carries no risk. If it does not prove useful, you do not pay for it.

The full mathematics sequence through Precalculus
The mathematics track at McKinney North proceeds from Algebra 1 to Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and finally Calculus. I tutor every course through Precalculus at both on-level and advanced difficulty, in addition to AP Statistics and AP Chemistry.
Algebra 1
On-level and Advanced. The foundation on which the remainder of the sequence depends. When a student encounters difficulty in Algebra 2, the underlying cause is very often located here.
Geometry
On-level and Advanced. Proof, congruence, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, and circles. The first course that asks a student to justify a conclusion rather than simply arrive at one.
Algebra 2
On-level and Advanced. Polynomial and rational functions, exponentials and logarithms, sequences and conic sections. Performance in this course largely determines how demanding Precalculus will feel.
Pre-calculus
On-level and Advanced. Trigonometry, identities, vectors, transformations of functions, and an introduction to limits. Taught with attention to what Calculus will subsequently require.
AP Statistics
AP and on-level statistics. I completed AP Statistics as a sophomore and scored a 5 on the examination, finishing at the top of my class on every assignment.
AP Chemistry
I received an A+ across the year and a 5 on the examination. Stoichiometry, equilibrium, thermochemistry, and kinetics.

I am a junior at McKinney North High School, currently enrolled in AP Calculus BC, the most advanced mathematics course the school offers. I completed Algebra 1 Advanced in eighth grade. In ninth grade, I took Geometry Advanced and Algebra 2 Advanced concurrently and maintained a 98 or above in both across the full year. In tenth grade, I again enrolled in two mathematics courses, AP Statistics alongside Advanced Precalculus, and finished at the top of each. The school granted specific permission for concurrent enrollment in both of those years.
The practical consequence for a student is that I have worked through this coursework recently. I know which topics reliably cause difficulty, how the instructors in this district construct their assessments, and what the weekly work actually demands.
Method
How the work proceeds
1. Initial contact
Send me the course, the grade level, and a description of what is going wrong. I will tell you whether I am well suited to it.
2. Diagnostic session
A full hour is spent establishing where the gap actually sits, at no risk. You don’t pay if you aren’t satisfied.
3. Regular sessions
Ordinarily 1-2x weekly, at $40 per hour. There is no agreement to sign and no minimum commitment.
I came to Rishi partway through AP Statistics with a grade I was not proud of, having largely concluded that I was not a mathematics person. He never treated the situation that way. He established what I genuinely did not understand and began there.
